  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Focus Assist Colours Build 20 & 30..

Oh no, I keep thinking I sound like a moaner!
As much as I have to adjust to technology being fixed, I can't help feeling that this defies what RED is all about?
For the situation I found myself in recently, testing between build 17 which I'm very familiar with and build 20 anamorphic, on a daylit interior, blue focus assist was fairly useless when focus pulling for myself, on the shoulder, moving at speed. It sounds like there are at least a few people who would like it returned to red edging or improved with perhaps green..

Is be interested in hearing about an optional build that did what everyone preferred.. But perhaps that's just me :)
 
That might be one way round it. Two versions of a single build with bright green on one and blue on the other? Not something Red would want to encourage of course, for obvious reasons!
