Why wouldn't you just use a regular FF35 lenses from Nikon or Canon, or a PL mount lens? With the crop factor, a 28-105mm 35mm lens would reach nearly 100-380mm equivalent in 2/3rd. It seems like the real thing a lot of people want is a wide zoom that fits 2/3rd mount for Scarlet (e.g. 6-50mm). And hope it doesn't cost an absolute fortune.

I thought about it, and for sure it's an option. But I would have to change the mount whenever I want to go for something wider, or buy PL mount lenses in the wide range.
Changing mount is supposed to be something very easy and fast, but at the beach/snow/mountain, even changing the lens can be a hassle, so I rather stay away from changing the mount in those environments.
PL Prime Wide lenses are expensive, of course we don't know MRP's price, but even if they are around 3000$ each, it's a good deal.
But as I said before, it's definitely an option.
