[FS: SUPPORT] Fluid head tilt and pan won't brake.

I have a Sachtler Video 25 ii that needs some love. The pan as well as tilt won't brake with the speed brake. Is this something that could cost a lot of money or could be fixed at a much more affordable cost???? Any info would greatly be appreciated!

If you mean the pan & tilt brake levers don't work when turned to their fullest extent, they are user adjustable I believe, but I don't have my Video 20ii handy to check.

Even if not user adjustable, if it's only adjustment needed, then it shouldn't be too expensive to be fixed.
However, if it's actually the internal brake discs that are too worn, then that's potentially requires a full service.

Best would be to enquire about the cost with Sachtler or their authorised service centres. It may not be as expensive as you think.

If it helps at all a "full service" for my Sachtler Studio 9+9 was about £600. It was not a happy head at the time, the pan drag kept getting stuck.

Where are you based? I am very local to the Sachtler UK service centre, and know them well

Thank you Eric! I've been trying to find a manual or any info on how to adjust the levers myself but cant seem to find any info. I ended up taking it to a service center.

@Eric. Yeah that's about the price I was think if it's something internal. I'm in the jungle of LA but just found a Sachtler rep to help me. thank you good sir!
