  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Flowcine Gravity One

Small update.
I have been dirty bench testing the new updated Serene spring arm design. Very easy to adjust with just turning a knob. Tests of heavy spring , starts from around 9 kg- 20kg camera gimbal load. Light spring, 6kg-14kg. Push pull forces at total range 90 degrees around +/- 2kgr.
will test some more components to find the sweetest configuration.
Arm is very reactive now, very easy to adjust for different loads and also very easy to change spring on the fly.Added a bungee rap at the back now, that will allow left to right corrections,(NOT SHOWN) but wont let pivot to turn more than 50 degree so you dont have to worry about hitting the ac when you bent over lol. 10 more days testing various components and endurance. Very nice and more advanced.Not far now.

Testing the Gravity One at Schweizer Video AG in Zürich. I didn't have the Serene to test it out in the lot. I think the Serene/Gravity One and the Easy rig will do some amaizing shots. Even if some motors could be part of a future upgrade, it's great to have a 100% mechanical solution.

So the New Redesigned Serene spring arm for vertical stabilization is almost done. Just a little more tuning and tests with the shown prototype and we are starting production. The new Serene spring arm has very low push pull forces, is adjustable on the fly from 5kgr-20kgr or camera +gimbal load to match your gimbal camera combination. Its beefier stronger with more mechanics added and just a single spring to serve for all different weights.
solid rock yet very light weight at 1,4 kgr adds next to nothing of weight on your easyrig , and stabilizes your vertical motion errors.

Mr Ben Beaulieu finishing his prep for his new feature film.
First Canadian film shot on the flowcine Gravity One? Definitely the first using the new arri UMC-4 wireless system. Camera and lenses aren't too shabby either. Red Epic Dragon with OLPF V1 (low-light optimized) and Leica Summicron-Cs.
