Thank you Costantine and Peter. Roadrunner camera car

I just just wanted to thank Peter and Constantine for all there help. I can't really say/ show anything at the moment about the material but this was us with rig on prep day, 55 mph 100mm lens no electronics. on the day we added a 4x4 kenyon to the rig and shot on a variety of zooms. I know the electronic gimbals are all the rage but this thing is just really fun to use. Along with the Serene arm, mounting options Constantine has taken a lot of time with us discussing options to easily pop the rig onto a variety of hard picked options. It was fun shooting with the hanging camera but when your traveling so fast we really wanted the camera to be hard mounted. We are anxiously awaiting a Serene arm and i can shoot some footage to test, Our 2 cameras are back from Red and we are anxious to go back at it.
Again thank you Constantine and Peter for your help......

Looks great Constantine. Am I correct that we will need to drill a new exit hole on the top of the easyrig arm to run the cable up and through the serene? I own an EasyRig 4 Vario 400 (now discontinued) so I'm just checking to see if this will work. Do you have any photos or video that demonstrates how this mounts to the easy rig arm? Thanks!

Hey Alex! Your correct. We have just finished of a little instruction how to do this a couple of hours ago for our beta users. For the pre-order units/later units, we bundle a drilling stencil for you.

I will check with Easyrig what measurement you have on Vario 4, and get back to you. I think its the same arm, but we need to make 100% where the front pulley is placed. I will find out tomorrow for you!

Hi Alex!

I've now double checked with Easyrig, and the Vario 4 arm is the same as the Cinema2.5/3. Now... There are a couple of different length on those arms. Do you know if you have a standard arm or a +130mm (medium arm) or the +230mm (longest arm). Depending on what arm you have, you need to do either 1 or 2 holes on top of the Easyrig arm. I will post some illustration/photos soon, so everything is clear! But the good news is that, yes the Vario arm works great ;)

Here you can see how it is attached to the Easyrig arm more in close-up. We´re pretty excited about the Serene hehe

Demo footage will be done shortly, with different combinations so you all can compare.

The first Serene spring arms are almost ready to fly to their first testers and be used directly into big and smaller productions in Europe , USA, and Australia.

We as a company make gear to work with other gimbals, as well as our G1 and upcoming G1E so the Serene will be also tested with the Easyrig +Movi + Epic combination, as well as Easyrig+Newton+Epic combinations on some very big budget productions.

I will be updating with information about all this and hopefully some exciting pictures and footage, when productions allow it.

In the mean time here they are.

Hi Constantine and Peter, I'll be at Cine Gear later this week and would love to check out the Serene arm while I'm there. Any chance of seeing one at the show?

Hey Caleb, we wont be at cinegear , but we have 7 Serene spring arms out there tested in real work environment on jobs with both Gravity One and Movi.
We are also putting together some very interesting videos showing the Serene and Gravity One with an Epic, and at the same time a go pro mounted on the Easyrig arm that shows the action of the Serene while walking as well as the final result through the lens. So today or tomorrow we will be posting this. All mechanical stabilization, no Kenyon gyros or anything else. Just the Gravity One, the Serene, the Easyrig, and a 9,5kg Epic configuration.

Best regards

Excellent, very much looking forward to seeing the videos of the Serene in action, and just how much stabilization we can expect without Kenyons and before the G1E. I normally shoot with my Epic built to around 10 kgs when using my own primes or lightweight zoom, so I'm particularly curious how that rig will look with the G1, Serene and Easyrig. Has there been any announcement on G1-E pricing by the way? It will be a difficult for me to decide on the Serene until we know the cost of upgrading the G1 to the G1E, although I do already like the extra height and fully mechanical option.

Hey Caleb since you are a backer from the indiegogo campaign , the price for the G1E upgrade will be the exact price we announced for the backers on that very campaign, no matter what the price will be for the Non backers and late customers. That means that the expense of the RnD and the extra cost that makes a more demanding product, will not effect our suggested promised price for the upgrades for our indiegogo backers. I hope that is clear.

Best regards

Constantine

Hey Constantine, interested in pre-ordering the Serene arm, was hoping to be able to check out the videos first. Have I missed the videos being posted somewhere or are they still coming?

Hello there.

We are still waiting for more feed back from our testers as they are all shooting around the world.

I also redesigned a mechanism to make the Serene even better than the prototype demo version, and Iam waiting for the prototype parts to arrive.

all the rest of the Serene parts that remain the same are already in production so we dont loose time.

From my side Iam trying to make this as clever and responsive as possible .

Peter has been also busy with the production of the high demand on Gravity ones and he is hopping for a video test the next week or so.

Sorry for this delay, but we want this to be an excellent tool before you guys get it in your hands, so we keep pushing the bar higher.

I will be updating soon. Thanks in advance
