Has anyone used the Flowcine Black arm on their car or truck?

Looking for ideas on best way to rig it to a vehicle...is it easy to use? Is it easy to figure out the best settings?

Trying to see if it's worth jumping into.

Thanks!

Ryan

Freefly has live video on how they have that set up with a Movi Pro. Looks really good.
I would love to try one out.

Yeah, watched that...looks impressive. I'm with you! Hoping to hear from people that own it and see if the hype is real.

Hey Ryan, we have one and use it religiously. The hype is real. It changes car 2 car footage collection.

Ryan,

As i see it, there is two different schools out there.
First is that road you most likely will follow. Use a 3axis gimbal, Movi or similar together with any kind of vibro damper, Flowcine which is nice.
Or you can go straight to a 5 axis gyro ( like the one we have GSS 520 ) No dampers at all. People have hard times to understand the difference between 3 and 5 axis systems.
Check this quick and dirty test with a homebuilt crane on his family car with our 5 axis system and no damper at all. we are rock solid at 250mm on a Dragon 6K. Would keep a Canon 50-1000 mm
rock solid to.

Hey Peter,

Totally...have used the Shotover system and it ruined me...which is why I am trying to create something as close to that on a budget as I can get.

Seems like flowcine with a gimbal is the best I can get for now.

Appreciate the response!
