  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Craig, congrats on the camera! Elizabeth Lowrey here of Amore Productions/Triumvirate Filmworks in Milton (I spoke on the phone with your partner a while back). I won't be seeing mine until April, but I remain keen to pop over to P-cola and drool over yours once you get it.:tongue:

I am certainly interested in getting together with the rest of you. I guess I also have pretty good contacts with the local TV stations. We have a monthly meeting of the SBE (Society of Broadcast Engineers), which meets in the next room from where I sit every day that I'm in the office.
I hadn't read through this thread for a while as the delivery schedule has been somewhat unpredictable. I will be interested in renting mine out when they come. (Have 2 on order.)

Oh, for those who are wondering, not that it matters but the name is Dave Neathery.

I'm also interested in that film makers group.

Red #210 is currently testing in the central Florida. Today Zeiss 35mm Superspeeds. Tomorrow Angenieux 35mm 25-250. So far everything has been great! What a wonderful experience. We are officially in biz and are located in Stuart, Florida, but we go everywhere.

Hey Charlie great to hear you guys are finally gettin the red, Kevin Lang here worked with you guys on the Varicam a while back. You guys got me really addicted to the Digital Juice stuff. Would love to come and see the red when it shows up.

I would love to come see the Red too. Mine's 1525 and the wait is driving me crazy. I'll bring good wine and stand quietly out of the way. :)

Someday soon, I'm willing to swap my Red when it comes for 6 weeks for 3 weeks time with someone else's. Shooting my graduate thesis feature...

I own RED 181 and live in the Sarasota Florida Area. I am shooting now with a PL mount 16mm Angenieux 17-70 zoom. (2K)

Could you personally email me? I think you'll find my rate very reasonable. I am not a skilled DOP, but I do know how to run the camera well and can get you through post in either Adobe or Apple.

Showing RED footage next weekend in Oviedo at our wrap party for our feature Gutter King (shot on AquaVideoRed206's camera) AND it will also be our kickoff party for our next one! Redheads, send me a PM for info. We'll show a few cut scenes, and 60 seconds of a wide range of clips, etc. BYOB, but keg and cigars to Red owners will be provided.
