FLIMMERN short film

FLIMMERN (engl. flicker) tells the story of Sarah, a young woman who ends after a nice evening in Alberts kitchen for another drink. Suddenly she finds herself tied up in an attic. Bit by bit she explores, that Albert is quite a normal guy whose sister is heavily injured and needs an organ transplantation. Sarah, however, has the right blood type ...

Lets add some technical details:
I shot on RED One-MX with P+S lenses. While shooting, we tried different techniques like hand held, a self made slider and minimal lightings.

Due to limited time the colour grading is far from perfect in the moment as we had some problems with CTB filters changing colours because of the heat.

We recorded sound on an Edirol recorder (with a lav mic and a VideoMic Pro) and atmo with a Zoom H2. These are little tools with very good value in my opinion.

Editing and Sound I did in Premiere Pro CS 5.5 and post in AE.
