I will have to shoot a TV screen running on 240V, 50 Hz AC power. The camera will use 24 fps. I have tried the following: 50th sec. shutter, playing with syncro and phase but still a very tiny flicker remains in a part of the frame. Did I miss something?

I tried that in the beginning and it looked good. I just fear that action before and on the monitors will get more motion blur as I would like. Got to test though. I would still prefer shooting on a 50th and correct but it is obviously just a dream :-(

As long as you're not panning or tracking, use 1/25 shutter and stop down.

Hi Markus...
I would simply shoot that particular scene at 25fps. The difference to 24fps is undetectable if you later mix it with other shots at 24fps.
