Hoping to get some reviews here.

Am looking to get a new monitor, and I am considering between the 3 options. I know there is a big size and nits difference between the 3 monitors.

Planning to use it as an on board and would like to get a more accurate reference monitor in a world where we are increasingly tuning in colors on the Led fixtures.

Am leaning towards the Flanders as I love the false colors on their monitors but am holding back because of its size, weight and its brightness (concern about outdoor uses).

Anyone has experiences with the monitors and care to chip in?

Cheers,
Kelvin

I've tested my gear today for an upcoming feature film. I was hoping to use two TV Logic 058W and two TV Logic 055A as my on-cam and 1AC monitor solution. I have rejected to use the 055A unfortunately. The color shifts in a significant way when you look at the monitor at a different angle, whites are somewhat greenish/blueish, there's almost no gain in luma in outdoor conditions compared to 058W. And the worst - the 055A doesn't match any common TV-Logic monitor out there, be it 058W or any of the client one's that are common.

I would not recommend the 055A at all. Was considering to buy it though a week ago, glad I didn't.

Thanks for the heads up. Was planning to get a 055A this week but I've been hesitant to put my trust and money into any OLED monitors still. Somehow I feel the older panels still give you the kind of assurance you need to judge the colors accurately.
