Fixed RED Test Footage

[Michael Pyon]

Hey guys

Recently posted a vimeo video of some test red footage in Washington Square Park. Due to all the technical problems everyone noticed in the video, I fixed it up and I think I hit it right on the dot.

Please comment if you notice anything wrong or like what you see.

Thanks

I liked it very much, Michael. Those L lenses look so good !

1. Did you shoot 24fps ?
2. What was your shutter ? 1/48 ?

Yeez I thought it was test footage from the Fixed Scarlet.

Very… Moody; for such bright sunshiny day. Maybe I'm missing something?

Day for Night?

[Justin Marx]

seems dark?

Yes, 24fps and my shutter varied throughout

For some odd reason, the video becomes a bit darker when uploaded on vimeo or youtube. Compression perhaps?

Maybe there's a gamma shift issue or something when you're encoding?
