Is there any information about the what focal length of the fixed lens Scarlet will be?

This is one of those things that I thought we'd know by now. It's getting pretty close to time for the cameras to be released. They've pretty much gotta have it locked down by now. Seems unlikely that they're waiting to see if a last-minute tech breakthrough or bottleneck will change their plans, which is an understandable aspect of the electronics side of things.

I believe it's about 7.2-57.6 mm (28-224 mm, FF35 equivalent).

Cool. Well, that would certainly work. I've been worried that the wide end would end up being limited to about a 40mm equivalent, which seems common in inexpensive 2/3" lenses. If it will go that wide it will be a nice and unexpected bonus.

i,m assuming we'll be able to get some wide end adapters on it too cos 28 is really scraping it as far as being a low end for 3d, hopefully an adapter will get that open to around 18-20, still 28mm ain't too shabby

Cool, thanks for the info. I'm hoping it'll be able to go pretty wide.

wow that is not a bad zoom range at all! when you read 8x zoom it sounds like nothing but seeing it layed out like that certainly makes it look more appealing. I'd also like to say that I hope its a little bit on the wider end, but I'm sure whatever it is it will be a great camera.
