Hello Red Gang,

Finally had a nice day to go take the scarlet out for a spin. Got it a month ago but the weather here has been awful. Still getting used to working with the files, but this camera lives up to all the hype.

Nice.. Although I was waiting for it to look like that old ladies rendition of Jesus that look like some oddity.. Would have made me pee myself..

Thanks John, glad you liked it. Didn't have that much time to shoot it. Did it in lieu of breaking for lunch :) I shot it all with the Tokina 11-16 2.8 and the Canon 85 1.2L II. Both amazing lenses for their price point and tac sharp. I'm hoping to grab some PL glass down the road.

Hi J,

Forgot to mention the dolly shots were done with the new Edelkrone Slider. It is a pretty great slider.

Beautiful work, both you and the street artist. The music worked well with it too.

Thanks Cory, I appreciate the feedback

Really nice work! Thanks for sharing. :)

the short or the XL edelkrone? i am very interested in that slider, seems like the short one would be enough and probably supports the weight better....but the extra range of the XL is tempting....
very nice well done btw....

Hi Paul,

I have the short slider. I am not sure how sturdy the XL is with a red. I am sure it would work well with a DSLR but I would stay with the short slider for something like the scarlet or epic. Personally I would try a few out before making the purchase. While I do like the edelkrone slider I think it is better suited for the DSLR market vs the Red

Hey Evaan, just curious, but was the 2.8 Tokina 11-16mm the original version or the II? I have the original, but mine seems softer in the center. Thanks.
:D

Hi Dustin,

Yes it is VS II of the Tokina so the lens is much sharper than the original. Really nice lens, I can see why Duclos mod's them

Thanks Thomas, glad the narrative is evident, cheers
