Have been learning technical skills in vfx/editing/color/ and producing/directing passion projects since I started film 4 years ago with no idea what I was going to do after college. Never owned a camera during these 4 years but saw my friends climb up the cinematography ranks. They never understood that breaking into the directors job market is a climb far more difficult at the beginning. I had to build up a body of work and get lovely people to join together to create an idea. Having built up that portfolio at the expense of money and time, I am now I'm eternally grateful, for someone bought me a red camera in exchange for a documentary. I've been so poor most of my life, and now finally feel like an 8 year old kid again with this in my hands. Here's my first 3 days as a proud owner operator, shot around Portland, Oregon.
"Through The Eyes Of A Dragon"

shot on a 120gb card, a sigma 18-35, and a Helios 44-2.
Its safe to say I have a lot to learn and can't wait to start operating under great dp's to continue to learn the craft.
