  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

but thank you Jim for making history, thanks everyone
for sharing the images [esp tonaci]. I first learned of
Red through Mike Curtis' blog almost 12m ago, and
have been like most supporters very EXCITED.

I'm trying to get financing together to aqcuire a
Red One, If i make a deposit now i guess ill get it
mid 2008? Anyway, I am very happy for the 1rst 25.

That image on the street looks very interesting. Does anyone have an incident meter handy? Would love to know what key you were shooting.
 
Yes JonPlancey if you put down deposit now, expect it anytime from march 2008 onwards... (that´s an educated guess)

Can we get some reports on how long your mac takes to convert the 4K files to 1080p HD (or whatever format), just how long does a clip take, and what hardware are you running, thanks!

Any chance of 4K stills compressed with JPEG at 100% quality?
