I need that thing right now!

If only we could have skipped the part about Mark Wahlberg fondling his balls.

Edit: And this had to be the topic of my 1000th post. :nonod:

I'd love to see a battery plate and belt clip that can take 2 REDvolts or an XL in addition to the modules. Would love to be able to move the batteries off camera.

I'm disappointed to see that it requires the module adaptor. The adapter looks to be half the length of the module.
It was my understanding that all modules require the module adaptor on the brain. It has the mechanism for locking on the bottom, and allows the eventual bigger brains (as well as previously the old Scarlet model) to all use the same modules via their own adaptors. A necessary evil for the sake of unified modules across camera brains?

The Meizler module doesn't require the module adaptor : http://www.reduser.net/forum/showthread.php?74450-MEIZLER-MODULE-Sneak-Peak

Modules that communicate power to the camera require an adaptor, others — not necessarily.
