  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

First night shoot with my scarlet.

People who say these cameras are anything but awesome in low light are... mistaken. Fantastic shot!

So it is a full frame lens? It's just that I've been trying to figure out if I should buy any still lens wider than 24mm, considering the crop factor, for the past month or so

ye it is. I would def buy something wider :) but I love to shoot with wide lenses.
 
thank you. Have you taken any 5k stills from this or other scenes? How does it compare?
 
Hey guys. Check the R3D at full resolution in Red Cine X.

Let's face it: it's really noisy at 800 ISO. This is what I was expecting, but this is really disappointing. FS100 is far far better in low light. :(

And don't forget it's a still : on a moving picture, it'll be even more visible.

Yes, shot a bunch of 5K stuff . All I can say is it def makes me want an EPIC :) but in terms of quality, it is just a larger, higher res version of the same thing. Quality is the same.

You would seriously call this "really Disappointing"

Maybe some others can chime in, but after processing I think these images hold incredibly well.
