  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

First Footage from my Red with Nikon Glass

Looking good!
I love the shots with green light.

What glass did you use?

EDIT:
I noticed you used Nikon glass in the youtube description.
What lenses?

Eric is this all natural "artificial" light? Looks great.

Yeah it was just light from the street. no other lights..

I used a Nikon 135mm F/2, 35mm F/1.4, 200mm F/2, 50mm F/1.8. That is all I could fit in my bag I had to carry all this crap myself.

The next one I am bringing my full lens kit and one other person to help.

I am going to buy a battery so I can bring some lights out in the field soon. Then the shots should really pop.

Erick, did you add some grain to the footage? It looks like so sometimes.....just curious.

No grain added. Maybe due to the compression. It was compressed from Davinci to H.264 then edited in premiere and compressed again. Then compressed by youtube. On my TV with the original files completely grainless and incredible looking. I went back to watch it at full 10809 I did notice many compression artifacts. It is not the footage just the compression.

Erick, the shot at 18seconds is devastating. Great, great job. Is this older Nikon AIS glass? Has wonderful character and texture.
