  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

First alexa shoot tomorrow

I thought some finished product samples might be nice for this thread... So here's the finished product for several commercials we did for Sprint a couple weeks ago with the Alexa. Everything was recorded LogC to an SRW1 deck in 444. I mainly viewed everything in LogC, so it's a treat to see what they did with its color.

Just click on the various posters to play the spot. Some are finished, others aren't.

I'll try to find some larger copies if I can.

Looks lovely CJ. I am getting ready to do some camera tests with the Alexa and your results made me feel a bit more comfortable as it is the same simple look I am going for.

Here is the link to the edited and graded spots from the shoot I posted about earlier in this thread:

The crane shots of the fountain are Alexa shots (Master prime 16mm, F4, ASA800, LOG-C, QTProres HQ 422) the rest were a mix of D21/KiPro and Sony PMW350K. All up we are very happy with the look achieved in the grade.
