  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

It says fixed time reset on boot, but time of day timecode still resets after every power up for me.

Version 1.1.1

Fixed data/time reset on boot
Fixed record error at 2K 600fps
Fixed False Color Video mode after re-enabling
Fixed missing RED HANC data
Fixed invalid SDI LTC metadata

There is not a lot on this update but Ill bet they did what they could to try to fix the obvious. That could be because they don't have a lot to fix just bringing functions online. Like slower shutter and TL along with frame adjustments.

Im betting there is going to be a much more full update in a bit.
Ill load it tomorrow and see if my camera get the time code issue of resetting fixed.

The old manual said "NOTE: The timecode is reset when the camera is turned off, unless an external power source remains connected and powered."

the 10/27 manual now says "NOTE: The timecode is reset when the camera is turned off."

I guess they can not fix the timecode problem, do not like that at all.

I hope this is not the case.
This is not the kind of limitation you want for a cinema camera.

At the very least maybe a function in RED Control that automatically jams timecode when launching the app.

Hope they develop a real fix for this.
