I have three of them, plus chargers, cables, etc.
The Focus Enhancements batteries they shipped with are pretty much kaput, but I have cables that let you power them from an Anton Bauer P-Tap, plus of course a power supply.
I used them exclusively with my HDX-900 cameras, but they work with a great variety of Firewire-enabled DVCPro cameras.
$600 each (includes a charger, power supply, power and Firewire cables)
or $1,500 for all three.
Cheers,
Harry

I've used these extensively with the P-Tap cable and the battery as a failsafe. Best way to go.

I thought they worked with more than just DVCPro cameras too?

Harry, what size HD's are in these?

They are 100 gig drives. 111 minutes of DVCPro HD when it's "non-native", or with pulldown. If you shoot "native" recording time goes up to 258 minutes.
Although they can encode your footage in many formats while recording (DV, Native, DVCPro, DVCProHD, Avid, Quicktime) I believe that they are designed to work only with Panasonic DVCPro cameras.
Cheers,
Harry

Agree on the power setup you describe.
I would power them from the P-Tap, using the onboard battery as the "failsafe", and also to keep the unit running for the minute or so it takes the ACs to remove the unit from the camera, plug it in to the power supply and computer, and begin downloading.
Also, three is a nice number (as it is with Red drives or SSD's) since you typically have one on the camera, one being downloaded, and one waiting for the reload (or just in case of a technical on the other ones)
With my A L E X A I got five 32-gig SXS cards since they fill up faster, but I plan on three 128-gig SSD's to start with on Epic.
Cheers,
Harry
