  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Finally online, Joseph Kahn's Power Rangers Short, Dragons and Master Anamorphics.

Just amazing. I've watched it at least 8x already.

UPDATE: The producers of the Power/Rangers short and Joseph Kahn have successfully won the battle to have all of the original links to Power/Rangers restored and permission from Saban to allow the exhibition of the material indefinitely. Yay team!

So here is the original link was deleted by YouTube...

Thumbs up, Chris!

Hi Chris!

I am very curious about the grip/dolly/gib/slider/whatever etc. setup you shot the main interrogation scene with,

I really love the way almost every line of the script is enhanced by moving the camera.

All of the interrogation scene was filmed with a traditional dolly on track. It's just a matter of precise blocking, camera placement/moves and operating style. There is no wishy-washy operating. Each move has a purpose and needed to have a certain feel to move with the actors and reveal information when we wanted to. Thanks for noticing!

Amazing! How much time did it take to shoot? How much took the preproduction?

Very little prepro actually. We were shooting in London while we had Joseph's assistant looking for locations. When we got back, we put it together in a week.

I'll start to post some BTS material shortly and a making of doc is in the works as well... for now, here's some VFX breakdowns created for fxguide.

Great work Chris... Been a fan of your stuff for some time. That Taylor swift video was awesome and now this. Awesome work. Any word on what the budget was to put something like this together? Or was it a passion project and all you guys jumped onboard together to make something epic?

How did it come about? Did Joseph just call you up and say... lets revive power rangers and make it darker??? More info. Love this stuff.

Fantastic! Love the behind the scenes stuff, too.

Thanks for the BTS stuff!

Wow, great
