Hey there guys,

I just wanted to share my excitement as a first time RED owner after several long years of longing.



Now that everything is unpacked, I do have a question: Since I'm in Germany, I was wondering if RED does make a european style power plug at all or if I have to rely on that travel adapter thingy? Or maybe some third-party european power cable that works with the Komodo AC brick? Any info on that would be appreciated.

That's all for now, I'm going back to being excited.

Hi Julien, first of all congrats to the camera (and the rig in the picture)! :encouragement:
For the power cord, I simply replaced mine with European cables. These are standard cables with a "Kleeblatt-" or "Mickey Mouse Stecker" (IEC-60320 C5/C6) at the adapter side, you can find these almost everywhere when you know their name. I also took this opportunity to buy longer cables than the ones that came with the camera (5m and 10m) to have more reach.
