Found this new module that's the best power splitter I've seen yet. It mounts directly onto the back of a Dragon/ Epic/ Scarlet body and adds 2pin Lemo, 3pin Fischer, P-tap, 4pin Hiroshi & USB connectors to charge your cell phone. The module also protects all your accessories, etc. Definitely a must have for mounting multiple accessories and solving power issues. Definitely getting one of these when they become available.

Bob if you don't watch it, people are going to start calling you Ketch.

Huh? What do you mean? I really like Scatterbox. I think Carlos has put a hell of a lot of thought into it. I don't own this, but I do own the Powerslice.

Don't worry, nothing implied, my lame attempt at being humorous, i.e. seems like you have one of everything. But one thing is for certain, you are a wealth of information so thank you. And to you too Mr. Rossi, both appreciated here.

Ha ha. No worry Mark. I was a bit sleepy when I replied. All good!

Wow love the lentequip box. As an AC sometimes its such a hassle getting all the accessories to work together. Definitely needed something like this long ago. Perfect that it also leaves the body power module free so you can go with a block battery at the same time if you wanted to. Things are looking up.

Like Bob my vote goes to the Scatterbox2. Built like a tank, top notch quality. And Carlos is incredibly helpful with any service needs.

I have used the Scatterbox 2 and as nice as it is , you still need a battery module that will take up the power input on the camera.
The Lentequip is cable less and you can use block batteries and still have an on board on the camera to hot swap , plus the benefit of all the connectors. I already pre ordered mine , will let you know once I receive.

Lentequip's power distro box has been great, had it for a month and it has been working flawlessly. I can power a monitor, FIZ, Cinetape & my phone all at once and still power the camera with a block battery! No more D-Tap splitters and I can use existing 2-Pin Lemo and 3-Pin Fischer for my accessories.

I love how well integrated this seems to be with a +1 adapter and top plate. One question...when doing a battery swap, assuming you have a redvolt in the side handle or a block/AC adapter plugged in, will the accessories powered off the Lentequip power distro box remain powered when you pull the battery off the back plate? I know the +1 adapter stays hot (too bad it doesn't do a great job of powering devices), so was just hoping the power distro on this stays hot during swaps...would be a bummer if monitor/preston/teradek all reboot with every brick change. Let me know when you have a moment. Thanks for the pics...really nice setup.

The distro is entirely powered by the battery to which is it attached. Power only enters the distributor after being "approved" by the SafeTap circuit in the distro box. The multi-pin connector on the unit serves only to power the camera directly from the attached battery. So yes, you would lose power to your accessories when you pull the battery of the distribution box - no way around that one. If it were to power the accs. and the camera and have full hot swap capability it would need to occupy the connector on the camera and would not be the cable less design that I wanted. I have only gold mounts so this was a much better option for me than the Red version that works the same way and doesn't have all the power outs. I'm happy with the way it works
Hope this helps
