Hi All,
for those who may need a Digital Cinema Playback solution sometimes, here is something for you:
We have started an open Beta for the innovative pixel's FinalDCP Player, working as a counterpart for either FinalDCP encoding solution or simply any other DCP enoder software you might use. Or if you let others create DCPs for you, you can use the player to check the files. As we want to make this a solid product, we entered an open Beta phase now to verify compatibility over much wider base of hardware & software combinations. We are also still adding new features, so everyones input and feedback is highly appreciated.
The FinalDCP Player runs on MAC and Windows, supports desktop and Blackmagicdesign Decklink card playback (so anything from a Intensity card to the 4K cards should work). It supports all framerates, SMPTE and Interop, multiple CPLs, multiple reels, playlists, 2.0, 5.1 and 7.1 sound etc. etc. etc.
If you are interested in participating in the open Beta, contact me off-list with your contact details, so I can explain you how to obtain a beta license.
Please drop me an email to sales(at)magnamana.com with the topic "[FinalDCPPlayer-Beta]" and your contact address, hardware, OS version and if you have, which DCP encoder you have.
Cheers,
Axel
