Final cut with RAW footage

Hi,

I just finished editing a short film with Avid Media Composer 8. Before editing I AMA-linked and transcoded the footage. I’m not really familiar with RED, so my question is how can I make the final cut with RAW footage?

Import into a finishing program and reconform to the original .r3d media (shouldn't be too hard if the file names are the same and you have the same timecode).

e.g. Bring it into Resolve, relink to .r3ds, render out after colouring. Titles may be jacked up, same with re-timed/re-framed footage, so you may have to roundtrip back, but at least you can do the finishing in full-r3d/colour/raw...
