Hi all,

i hope some can help me..

If i drop a a R3D file in Final Cut Pro X I see a ‚Pixel Glitch‘ like thing going on..

Workflow is installed.
Red Komodo has the newest software.. Same as Final Cut and my MacBook..
and the footage is recorded without error etc.

it also happens when using the example files from red..

what am i missing?

see file attached..

thank you for the help!

Does it play without issues on Redcine-X? If so, how much memory do you have? Usually 64gb is a good amount. 16gb is the bare minimum.

In Redcine-X it runs without issue.
The MacBook has 16gb so is the minimum.

A work around would be to export it out of Redcine-x as a pro-res file and then use it that way in FCP. Not sure what the glitch is unless it's hardware related like bad memory or video card issues. I am assuming that the file was not corrupted in any manner while recording (like poor quality power/battery).
