I'm used to working with Adobe products for some time, recently I been searching and doing some research on how better tools than Premiere Pro. I saw that a lot of users are fan of FCP X.
So going back to my point:
- I'm having really low performance on FCP when playing back. Should I enable transcoding in the background? Do a Pro Res version?
- Are there any tips for grading? I usually grade in RCP and then cut in PP, I used to have Davinci but IMHO for the type of shooting I do I do not feel I need to invest so much time in grading.
- Any recommendations for FCPX and Red Cameras?
When I try to grade inside FCPX (because sometimes you don't want to go back to RCP) I saw that it look awful while trying to edit the metadata of Red.
Thanks and sorry for the beginners questions.
