  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Hi can someone point me to where I can get functioning workflow codec for Final Cut Pro 6 ?? Can't seem to find it anywhere. This is to be able to import red quicktime proxies into FCP6 if possible?

Also how would one recommend log and transferring R3d into FCP6?

Hi Peter,

FCP 6 is not supported for Log & Transfer etc. You'll need at least FCP 7 for that. Having said that, the QuickTime codec that comes with our Red Apple Workflow Installer should allow you to load the QuickTime reference files in FCP 6.

I would suggest looking in to other solutions for the future.

just use redcine to transcode to pro res to use in fcp...
