Final Cut Pro 10.4.3 continuously crashes while creating proxies from 8k helium files

Final Cut 10.4.3, Red Apple Workflow 13, Helium 8k raw files.

Final Cut will continuously crash while creating proxy files. This behavior happens on my iMacPro and MacBookPro (late 2015).
Have been able to transcode files in the past with no issues. This is a big project and I'm dying a slow and painful death.

Any similar issues ? any suggestions ?

What is aspect ratio of your 8k? I have just created a number of proxy files within FCP 10.4.3 with 8k 2:1 and 10:1 compression.

update red driver and update fcpx? try making new library also

As it turns out, its my iMac pro.... issues with the logic board that corrupted the FC libraries. Big shout out to RED technical support that sniffed out the issue from my crash reports and Apple finally concurred. New logic board next week! ugh
