Hello

How do yu get Mac to offer update of 6.0.3 or 6.0.4? It doenst show in the Update list.. Also tried the apple site but its says i already downloaded? eh?

That's what happened to me with the latest QT: Software Update window appeared, I then pressed positive and it downloaded in about 30 seconds without having to reboot. Good luck.

No doubt. I just got my machine a week ago from the factory.
But if there were issues or problems, I wish it would just show all the updates you need, that's what the software updater is all about, keeping you current and up-to-date. Of course the actual OS update/version takes a bit more bite.

It is a security update it doesnt say FCP up look for the latest security update the most recent one is 6.0.4 and tthe one before is 6.0.3

No - the security updates have nothing to do with FCP. The update from 6.0.3 to 6.0.4 is part of a ProApps update which also updates compressor. This is an increasingly common form of update for FCP, as it is now only sold as part of the Final Cut Studio package. It also makes life difficult for anyone running FCS on a hackintosh I would think...
