  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Filter size on the RED 18-50 zoom?

I cant seem to find the filter diameter on the 18-50 Red Zoom. From my memory there is a place you could use a screw-on filter. Id like to try a Fader on it.
 
99 % sure it is 72mm
 
I've got the extra 1%. It is 72mm.
 
That makes a total of 100% sure...and I can confirm that :)

With my Red 18-50, for mobility and weight concerns in the genres I shoot, I've always exclusively used screw-on filters. I'd suggest using good multi-coated filters. I've had good results with Hoya, Tiffen, and B+W.
