can you explain to me why the END TC in these files differ. They are from the same project but have different out points... here are the first few events from the same sequence...

In the tabbed file it sets start and end frames in the sequence.
The TCStart is exactly one frame after the previous TCEnd.

The EDL standard sets the out point as the last frame not recorded.
That's why the in point is the same as the previous out point for the sequence.

Crazy
But standards are standards...

Exactly - film lists have always been what is called inside/inside versus EDL's which are inside/outside.

Great thanks... btw any news on the xslt for the Master XML -- Redcine Transformation...

Mahvo

The master XML is part of the v3 release. We are working on a landing page which will add a whitepaper and the finalized XSLT file to apple to the master XML in the next couple weeks.

ye have had a look at MC 3.0 so far so good :-) (infact have it on this very macbook pro), look forward to testing xslt.... and the REDCINE pullist possibilities, will make conform in Nucoda so much easier and quicker when it comes to exports from R3D....
