I want to film the Eclipse tomorrow via a 35mm Lomo Anamorphic lens looking at a mountain view of the city (Las Vegas) with the sun at the top of the image and have a few questions.
1. What are some last minute options as far as a solar filter go that I can find locally? I am thinking glass from a welding helmet may be the only thing I can find here providing home depot still has them in stock. I have a couple very low ND filters but not sure if those would work.
2. What would be a good camera setting to use considering it will be going from bright to dark to bright? I am thinking F22 aperture and perhaps 60 FPS / 120 Shutter Speed with HDRX on but I am worried that it may get so dark that the lens cannot pick up any light from the city at F22.
3. Any techies know how I can find out where the sun will be in Las Vegas tomorrow around 9AM? If its going to be directly above me then this shot wouldn't work.
