I am wondering if anyone has had any experience with this? I have a need to shoot very wide (possibly fisheye) from a helicopter nose mount for projection on either a curved (cylindrical) screen or half dome / tilted dome screen. I have access to Wescam or Cineflex type systems but the problem with those is you can't use a fisheye lens since the camera is inside the ball and you can't slide the camera forward so the lens is sticking out because it throws off the balance too much (this is what I've been told). Is the Tyler nose mount my only option? Are there any other similar mounts that are available? We will most likely use an Epic camera.
Any info or advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks much, Chris Pyle
