Film transfer using H proxy

Hi everyone,

My name is Roystan, and I just shot my feature on Red.
I am currently editing the film using the M proxy on FCP, and I'm using clipfinder to reconnect the footage to H proxy.

I'm using Color for color correction before sending to FCP and after that I plan to output the 2k files on quicktime before sending them for film transfer.

I am wondering if my workflow is alright, as I know there are many ways to work with Red. Any feedback and advice will be greatly appreciated.

When you take the raw files into Color, the only thing the proxy size does, is to indicate how much the 4 k file should be scaled.

Thus, you would have the same resolution from a p as from a F proxy. Have a look in the geometry room, and you will see how it works.
