Well, I would take the 19mm plate, but I can't find an answer if the old ET plate will work on the Epic.

I can't seem to find it now, but I do remember a thread some time ago that said the pre-hybrid 19mm ET plate would work, but that it needed an 'inexpensive' adapter.

Matthew,

If you are planning to buy an Epic, I'd highly recommend the new RED base plate that is designed for the camera and all the wonderful accessories they have designed. The new base plate is really nicely engineered and small/lightweight.

Is it designed to go on an arri/ET dovetale? Because I'm not doing the cheeseplate route again.
