Dear All,

It is the situation, and I need to explain it clearly:

On an ordinary shooting day, I recorded some files on one of my CF card, and it is automatically labeled as A034 something.RDM meaning that it is magazine 34. I didn't use up the space of this CF card (magazine 34), as I want to make a long time lapse shot, so I passed it to someone to transfer the files to a laptop. Then I recorded the time lapse shot on another CF card, and it should be labeled as A035 something, as it would be magazine 35. After this card (magazine 35) was full, I used another card to do my shooting, so on and on (magazine 36 and on).

After the shoot, we checked our shots. In the folder that we supposed to put A035 shots has nothing, not even any RDM, and from Get Info, it says Zero bytes. In the next folder (we put each CF card content into a separate folder), these are the shots we made after the time lapse shot, it is labeled as A035 something.RDM.

The puzzle is that if the person who copied the files failed to copy my time lapse shot's CF card, which should be A035, by whatever reason, then I shouldn't have anything called A035 something.RDM. But the strange thing is that we do have A035 magazine, but not the time lapse shot. FYI, we are very sure that we did do the recording of the time lapse shot because we even watched it on camera, and it looked beautiful.

Can anyone solve this puzzle? Any surmise?

Thanks in advance.

It should work on the CF card that you used even if you already erased it. Hopefully you didn't record a bunch of footage onto the same card after it was erased.

I haven't used Redundead before so I can't tell you how it works. But yes, it is made specifically for Red media.

unfortunately, yes, I did re-used the same CF card many times already.
Thanks.
