Hi Guys

I am currently trying to render a few very long takes out of redcine X, both shots are about 20-25 minutes in length, export to prores LT in 1280x720, on the last try it stopped at 96% and I keep getting the error message "File Bounds error. Check file system format".

doest this have anything to do with the sort of file system I render the files onto ? I know NTFS has a 4GB file size limit ? But I work from a mac, never had this issue in the past.

thanks for any help.

ciao Dominik,
try to render with davinci , only for check.

NTFS has a file size limit well beyond 4GB. Do you mean FAT32? Are you rendering to an external drive?

Always get those two mixed up, yep David that was the issue, rendered to a portable firewire drive which was FAT.

Changed to one of my mac drives instead and it worked fine.
