I just wanted to inform everyone that Feel My Pain is finally online at:

I shot this with director Rob Stefaniuk last October 25th as part of the first Toronto Red Test. We had a 35mm print premiere in Toronto on February 8th as part of the 4K Workflows Seminar at the Royal Cinema. This was shot on #98 with FW build 7 at both 4k and 2k and converted to 2k DPX with Redcine 1.0.0 build 65. Looking at this material 5 months later I can definitely see significant improvements in the picture quality of Red material shot with 98X and FW build 15 and converted with the latest Redcine. That being said I'm still happy with what the Red One gave us and I look forward to what it will deliver another 5 months down the road.

Needs a "Shot on RED" credit? Great stuff...

Jim

Love lighting, camera work (slowmo steadycam on some track like shots?)and direction.
And the singer.
Best,
P.

You guys should see the 35mm print of this!

If there was even the slightest doubt in my mind about the Red camera, it completely disappeared on February 8th when I saw Gregor's print.

Check out the shadow detail even just in the Quicktime!

Very cool stuff. How can you go wrong with female vampires. What kind of lenses did you use for this. Looks very good and the lighting is awesome.

Some vampires are almost worth being bitten by! We shot with Ultra Primes from PS. Thanks for all the compliments.

Jim I didn't know there was a proper shot on Red logo. I will amend the credits next chance I get and if someone could point me where to download it I'll forward it to the other producers I've been working with.

Ah, the vampires of Queen West, god love them. This looked great, loved the location work.

This is a test for a feature, right? Any news on this? Were all the poeple in the club vampires, BTW?

This was both a Red test and a small test for Rob's next feature. I don't understand the mysteries of development, but I think his project will finally shoot in the near future.

Hey Matthew where can I see your feature with Sandy?

Gregor,

Great job!

It's nice to see this up online.

The print looks great too.

David

Agree. This is good stuff. Hopefully RED will have it at NAB.
