  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Here is my initial wishlist in no particular order:


1. Monitoring through Kona/Decklink (I guess the RR monitoring is there...)
2. Save project :)
3. "Copy to all" - if it's not in there already
4. Open EDL/Conform (looks like this will be simple to implement)
5. Shortcut for cuts
6. Shortcut for cutting and deleting the clip (or what's left of it) to the right or to the left of the playhead
7. keyframing of all settings

Bonus features, group 1:
a. Layering/Compositing mode -:)
b. Keyer -:)
c. Masking tools
d. Tracker


Bonus features, group 2:
A CC mode after developing into RGB with unlimited maskable and keyframeable secondaries
Suport for colorgrade panels...

Why I need to be able to change the clip time-base...

Some from RED asked why we would want to change the timebase of a clip.

Here's my answer. I live in PAL land, but do a lot of film work. Thus swapping berween 24 and 25 fps a lot. More than occationally I have material with different timebase that needs to be corrected for whatever particular project...

Makes sense?
