FEATURE REQUEST: Delete that lousy take command!

What I don't really understand is all the animosity against the *option* of deleting single clips — while at the same having no problem with being able to erase a full magazine in camera.

Tom has repeatedly asked for this - I'm with him in a big way. Both in camera and in RCX, give us a setting that says "allow delete clips" to appease the folks who don't like it - then allow us to KILL BAD TAKES. Please?

To me, it's just insane that I cannot delete a bad clip after taking it. Every other digital camera I have ever used can do this.

If Red is worried about people accidentally deleting clips, then the menu can say, "Do you want to delete this clip?" You click yes. Then it says, "Do you REALLY, REALLY want to delete this clip??" And so on.

I would say that about 85% of the footage I am paying to store on digital drives is worthless junk that I can neither delete in camera, nor in RCX. It's an incredible waste of space and time, IMO.
