I don't use resolve or FCPX but I hear they can auto match really well. If redcine could do that, it would be super sweet. Yes I can drop a look on a bin of clips, but what I really want is to make one clip the look I like (and the crew wants) and be able to apply it to others so that they emulate the look even when accounting for scene changes, lighting changes, stuff where dropping a single look just won't work. I want it to work on an algorithmic level and look at vector-scopes waveform monitor, and be able to match the shots in a smart way with metadata/scopes/etc. The current apply look to all does not do this and you must nit pick all the shots, which is a pain when you hear about these other applications being able to automate the process. Even if its not spot on perfect, "good enough" probably works for me just to get it really close and save myself some decent chunk of time... I am going to look into getting into FCPX and Resolve anyway, but I think a feature like this would help a lot of people since redcine seems to run well on any machine, and resolve not so much... so it would give access to many dated machines if redcine can do this specific feature...
