Feature Film in 30 days- Wins awards with Red

[Luckyyoufilms]

You know that you have done something amazing when people try to copy you. Lucky You Films accomplished what was not possible by shooting a feature film (90 minutes) in less than 30 days. On top of that, the three writers wrote a full script for the film during in the first part of the 30-day process. It has already won two awards for best actor and best director at the Solstice Film Festival, which was only 45 days after they started working on the project. On top of that, It was being streamed on the internet live during the whole process.
The films was shot with the redone in just three days and with one amazing amazing DP Steve Saxon.

Now a group is trying to do something similar:

This is a web experiment to produce a feature film in 30 days. Their Project: www.30dayfeaturefilmchallenge.com

It’s now east coast vs. west coast. The east coast has already done this with "The Last Passport".

:thumbup:Congratulations. That is an amazing accomplishment.

I just finished a 90 minute feature in 22 days. Only difference is we def took much longer on the script and then a few weeks in preparation. The actual movie production was only 22 days though and my first film was even shorter in 17 days for a 90 minute feature. It is amazing to actually fit the script writing process into the 30 days I have to say.

do you all have a distributor to get the invested money back?

Welcome to a world where "how it got made" is more interesting than "what's it about?" or "how is it?".
