Hello everyone I just wanted to run by you guys my workflow on RED files going into Avid and see if I am doing it correctly. I am only used working RED on FCP so I want to be sure since this is a feature film I'm working on.
1st I copied the Red files through R3D Data Manager.
2nd I Transcoded my RED files in Clipfinder using these settings :
Output:quicktime De-bayer re.:1/2 (normal) Codec:AVID 1080p DNxHD 36 8bit 25pal Scale width:1920 x1080.
3rd I started a 1080p 25 project in Avid and dragged the ALE file into bin and batch imported the offline media. (!!Did not know if I should change any settings there???)
In the end we are gonna online the project to full HD take it to FCP and end it in 4K in Colour.
Please let me know if something here seems wrong.
