Hi for everybody using Blackmagic cards with Final Cut. I just got this from their support team:

Hello Jochen,

Our engineers are working hard to support official drivers with FC7. In the
meantime, you should still be able to use your Blackmagic card in FCS3.
Just make sure to reinstall the Blackmagic drivers after upgrading your FC.

You will still have the same Blackmagic presets in FC7 as you did with FC6,
just that there will not be any presets for the new ProRes codecs. Should
you need to use a new ProRes codec, simply duplicate a current Blackmagic
ProRes preset, change the capture preset to a new ProRes codec and then
rename it-essentially creating your own custom preset.

This should work fine until we have official FC7 drivers. Please continue
to check our software downloads page for updates.

Does Blackmagic support monitoring of Colour projects?

As of FCS 2 - Yes, and for a very long time (you were able to in the Final Touch days). I have not tested it in FCS 3 yet, as I'm in the middle of a project, and the facility I'm working at isn't likely to upgrade for a little while.

Guess I'm pretty lucky, my blackmagic cards still running well, is there a specific thing I should be looking out for?Just upgraded to FCS 3 and haven't reloaded the drivers since FCS 2
