I have a video I'm working on and everything is going great. I render a first draft to my client and they love it but want to make some text changes. Cool. I open the project 3 days later and suddenly several of my clips look really weird. I finally figure out FCPX isn't properly reading the meta data. In RCX I have everything set to the IPP2 workflow with my preferred transform LUT (Low Con 4)
However, in FCPX the RED settings show DragonColor2/REDLogFilm and not REDWideGamutRGB/Log3G10 like in RCX

I have NOT done any upgrade, updates, OS updates, FCPX version updates. NOTHING. Suddenly FCPX is doing this. But mind you it's not on every clip. Some of my other clips, in the same timeline, are still displaying IPP2 correctly.

Please help with suggestions. I HAVE to get this back to them today!

Thanks, Bob. I'll give that a shot and let ya know what happens.

Thank you, Bob, for taking the time to respond. Unfortunately that didn't work.
However, I did find a solution. I just created a new library and project, imported all the footage into the new library then copied and pasted the clips from the old timeline to a new one and it's all working fine now.
Seriously have no idea what that was all about but hopefully it never happens again.
