I'm trying to figure out how to best scroll different clips from side to side at the same speed without having to make a dozen keyframes (think of shots where a character keeps walking from scene to scene and you follow with him - kind of a post-dolly effect).

Every clip is the same length of time and has the same in and out parameters (-100 to 100, for example). However, the clips seem to drift and leave black space between them at points, then overlap elsewhere. Any way to correct this or do it more efficiently?

Create one video going across. Duplicate that effect, then copy and paste the attributes, then all you have to do is adjust the offset and keep that uniform (whatever the offset is)for all subsequent clips.

Would adjusting the offset be creating keyframes? I created a clip going across, and have other clips following suit with the same effect, but there's a lot of drift.

The clip's movement into the viewing area starts slow, speeds up, then slows down before it hits its end point. Is it possible to disable this drifting so that it's one uniform movement?
