God I hope this thread doesn't turn into a bitch-fest. Sounding like a 12 year old (FCPX sucks!) never gets anyone anywhere. You would think the "pros" would be more mature than that.

I really hope that every person who has commented on here has also hit that feedback button. And I don't mean just once either. You have to annoy the shut out of someone to get anything done anymore.

I did, and I wrote my feedback on their software.

I used what you posted above as a starting place, but I aired four concerns:

Red (Including Epic 5K, and a sideways reference to stereo 3D)
Broadcast i/o
Color Wheels
Control surfaces

And I don't mean just once either. You have to annoy the shut out of someone to get anything done anymore.

I disagree.

EDIT: I see you already got a response like I anticipated.

If you "annoy them" too much they'll start to employ their technology to automatically process you into the circular file. They'll probably also learn your name for all the wrong reasons, and thus discount the input they did get.

If you want to contact them on multiple occasions ... then find something new to offer feedback on.

Otherwise, doing what you did here: asking others to provide intelligent feedback, is the best you can do.

Eeek, yeah you do have a point. I emailed them back apologizing for the constant requests, but I made it clear that I want to hear news about this soon from either Apple or Red. So let's hope they took me seriously.

I never got back such a mail. Judging by that, you really did succeed in annoying them! I don't think a hundred mails from a hundred people would work. One mail each from ten thousand people, however, will force them to get to work.
