FCP, R3D and Color

Our RED footage was transcoded to ProResHQ using RedRushes (at 1920 x 1080) for editing in FCP. Picture is now locked. Is it a problem that we didn't use Log and Transfer to ingest footage if we want to use Color with the original R3D files? I did a test using Workflow 3 from the workflow whitepaper and the RED tab is inactive. What are my options?

You can export the XML from FCP, then conform using Clipfinder to the original R3D, then read the conformed XML from Clipfinder with FCP then send to Color. Make sure after saving the Color project first then run the Color Loop fixer before staring to grade in Color.
